This large elegant room has unique artistic elements with hand-picked furniture and takes its name from Juan Ramon Jimenez' poem "La Fuente Opalina" which translates as “The Opaline Fountain”. It is the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the narrow streets of the Albayzin and the historic city centre.
This luxury room in our Alhambra hotel is warm and inviting and has terracotta tiled floors with oriental rugs, solid wood ceilings and furniture, original art and pieces of fine craft work. There is a large bed with sumptous bed linen there is even room to accommodate three guests when an extra bed is requested. A large flat screen TV is a nod to the modern side to this Alhambra hotel which has WiFi in all the guest rooms and communal areas.
Gentle but effective lighting including LED bedside reading lamps creates a calming ambience to this beautiful and unique boutique room. There is also a full sized bathroom with the finest tiling, a power shower, and of course, our fine Egyptian cotton linens. Molton Brown bath products complete the package.

Exceptionally Beautiful Place to Stay
We spent 4 nights at El Ladron de Agua, and enjoyed almost every minute of our stay there. The hotel's employees were pleasant and helpful. Our room was excellent with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. The downstairs courtyard was designed in a modern motif which was extremely beautiful. I do not frequently comment on hotels on Tripadvisor, but I strongly feel the need to, and will, give your hotel an excellent review when I get time. Your hotel is beautiful, friendly, in a perfect location on one of the most famous and elegant streets in the world, and, well, just perfect in every way.
