A Hotel in Granada...

where dreams come to life

"... y el alma quiere salirse, mudarse en mano del agua, acudir a todas partes, con palabr a desatada..."

This hotel in Granada, is a place for travellers open to sights and sounds. Shunning stereotypes, they come to Granada in search of the magic that history, legend and other romantic travellers have impressed upon the city through the ages: magic to be found in its streets and in unique attractions like the Alhambra, Generalife and the Albayzín neighbourhood.

This is a 16th century mansion that looks right onto the Nasrid palaces of the Alhambra - you can all but touch the Vela Tower -, replete with history and special details. Its beautiful Renaissance courtyard, lounge, hall and cistern, are the perfect place to delight in your surroundings and enjoy good company.

"The Hotel El Ladrón de Agua" (The Water Thief)

The hotel's name is inspired in a poem of Juan Ramón Jiménez, where water evokes all our aspirations. The presence of water is a symbol giving us clues as to Granada's peoples and places, to the lights and shadows of the city: the journey as means of self-discovery, water as life-giving elixir, the traveller-poet's task of marking paths and trails.
