The rooms (each named after poems from Olvidos or works of Lorca and Falla) are located around the galleries of the two floors and on the third (tower) floor. Eight of the rooms look directly onto the Alhambra, while one of them, in the tower, is a real treat for the senses and a gift inherited from history - it has views of Plaza Nueva Square, the Darro River valley, the Generalife and the Alhambra and has a stunning Mudejar ceiling, three metres up. Other rooms lend themselves to a more intimate frame of mind, with their own artistic elements to be enjoyed. They all have full bathrooms with the finest tiling, and several even have hydro massage baths
Each room has been simply decorated, warm and inviting without being ostentatious: terracotta floors with oriental rugs, plain white walls, solid wood ceiling work and furniture, the odd painting or piece of fine craftwork, gentle but effective lighting that can be personalised according to the taste of each guest.
Each room has been doted with details hard to find in the majority of hotels, whatever their rating:
Our rooms are smoke-free. However, our clients are allowed to smoke in common areas, such as the patio or the hall.
